I began working as a full-time Senior Research Engineer at Innopeak Technology, Inc. (a.k.a OPPO US Research Center), focusing on XR (MR/AR/VR) related projects.
I am thrilled to announce that I have successfully defended my Ph.D. dissertation, titled “GENERALIZED DYNAMIC 3D RECONSTRUCTION", at Stevens Institute of Technology. I am deeply grateful to my advisor, Professor Enrique Dunn, for his invaluable guidance, mentorship, and encouragement throughout this journey. I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to my dissertation committee members, Dr. Philippos Mordohai, Dr. Damiano Zanotto, and Dr. Yaser Sheikh, for their insightful feedback, support, and thought-provoking discussions that helped shape this research. This milestone would not have been possible without their expertise and dedication, and I am incredibly thankful for their contributions to my academic growth.
Our paper “GTT-Net Learned Generalized Trajectory Triangulation” by X. Xu and E. Dunn, was accepted for oral presentation in ICCV 2021. Acceptance rate 3%.
During the summer of 2021, I worked as a 3D Computer Vision Research Intern at Wormpex AI Research LLC, under the supervision of Dr. Guang Hua.
I returned as an Applied Scientist Intern at Amazon Lab126 during the summer of 2020, continuing my work on the Astro home robot.
Our paper “Discrete Laplace operator estimation for dynamic 3D reconstruction” by X. Xu and E. Dunn, was accepted for oral presentation in ICCV 2019. Acceptance rate 4.3%.
